Although Elie's Coast 120 XE Angler Kayak was built for speed, stability and ergonomic comfort, it really comes into its own when you load it down with fishing gear and spend the day looking for elusive lunkers. At 12' long, it doesn't require as much effort to quickly cruise across the lake to your secret fishing hole. Praised for being practically unsinkable and easy to get into and out of, many paddlers like to use a sit-on-top for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving as well.

Hull Design

Made by fusing together three layers of Poly-XR™ with advanced resin in the top layer, this material is 30% more rigid than standard polyethylene. It also uses less material in the manufacturing process, making it lighter to transport and glide on water and stiffer so it's easier to paddle and turn.

Comfort

The Ergoflex Seating System™ has an adjustable backrest with a perforated foam panel allowing air circulation to keep you cooler during paddle exertion. The EVA padded seat on the Coast 120 XE Angler is grooved to trail off water or sweat and assist in eliminating hot spots. It will support your body comfortably on your voyage. Sides are padded where your thighs or knees rest. Adjustable foot rests allow for paddler height switches or leg stretching and shifting. There are carry handles at either end, which work great not only for carrying but also tying off when stopping for lunch at the beach or helping secure to your car top.

Fishing-Specific Features

The Coast 120 XE Angler is set up perfectly to fish. It has two flush-mount rod holders behind the seat and an included Scotty™ swivel rod holder in front between your legs. A paddle tiedown holds your paddle so you can concentrate on tying on a lure, cast around structure or fight that monster bass you've been stalking. The stern storage well with bungee tiedowns makes a great place for your cooler, bait tank and tacklebox.

Storage

Items that need to be safe from water can be secured within arm’s reach in the easy-access, angled Quick Lock 8" bow hatch, which also comes with a storage bag. A quarter turn of the latch will open it or secure it. Other belongings can be tucked inside the day hatch with dry bag behind the seat.

More Built-In Features

You'll find a molded-in lay down bottle holder in front of your lap so you can easily quench your thirst. Accessory eyelets are placed around either side to further tack on gear. It’s self-bailing so you don’t have to worry about taking on unwanted water. Includes a two-year limited extended warranty.
