With a compatible transducer, it supports Garmin CHIRP traditional sonar, CHIRP ClearVü, and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonars at up to 500 W (RMS) of transmit power. The WVGA color display (800 x 480) offers seven selectable Vivid color palettes for high-contrast sonar viewing. Built-in high-sensitivity GPS lets you mark and return to waypoints, plan routes, and monitor boat speed, and Garmin Quickdraw Contours lets you build and store your own 1-foot-contour HD maps across up to two million acres. Built-in Wi-Fi connects the unit to the Garmin ActiveCaptain app for waypoint transfer, smart notifications, software updates, and access to the Quickdraw Community. The IPX7-rated housing suits demanding marine conditions, and the unit ships with a tilt/swivel bail mount plus transom and trolling-motor mounting hardware and cable.
