Harken's 32 mm double storage track is a single-piece extrusion designed to mount to the 32 mm Switch T-Track system, extending its overall capacity for sail handling systems. The Battcar switch technology automatically splits cars onto two parallel tracks, effectively cutting sail stack height in half. This innovative design allows for more efficient mainsail handling on larger vessels.
The track is precision-machined or extruded from 6061-T6 aluminum, a marine-grade alloy chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. All surfaces are hardcoat anodized to provide a long-lasting protective surface against saltwater and UV exposure. The 32 mm is available in both clear anodized and black hardcoat finishes. Clear-anodized aluminum offers an aesthetically neutral appearance but provides less corrosion protection than the black hardcoat variant, making it suitable for freshwater or covered environments. The black hardcoat finish delivers superior protection for bluewater cruising and exposed deck applications.
