Stand-up blocks are an addition to the Element line, designed for sheeting and halyard systems, running backstays, controls, and other applications where you do not want the block to hit the deck. Element blocks introduce sideplates that combine forged aluminum and compound curves for strength. They are simultaneously contemporary and very robust. Element's design pairs the minimum amount of metal required to protect the sheave with a proven journal bearing. Size for size, Element is priced significantly lower than previously least expensive blocks.

The journal bearing blocks are manufactured from forged, surface-hardened aluminum flanges and glass-fiber reinforced nylon sheaves. They are characterized by high stability, particularly under static loads. Whether for redirecting the mainsail sheet, as part of a backstay tackle, or for redirecting control lines, the 60 mm Element Stand-Up Block with Becket is versatile thanks to its high working load of 1,100 kg. Rotating stainless steel head pins, firmly connected to the padeye, ensure secure attachment.

The 60 mm Stand-Up Block with Becket is deployed wherever blocks must not contact the deck. The base plate can be mounted directly to deck with four screws. The integrated spring keeps the block in an upright position at all times, preventing it from striking the deck and ensuring optimal line run.
