IMTRA Imtra Stainless Steel Anchor Chain Swivel for 1/4"-5/16" Chain
The Imtra SPA-801 is a marine-grade 316 stainless steel anchor chain swivel designed to prevent rode from twisting between the anchor and the windlass gypsy. Compatible with 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch chain, this swivel connects between the anchor shackle and the chain, allowing the anchor to pivot freely and settle naturally on the seafloor without transmitting rotational loads up the rode.
The swivel is precision-machined for smooth rotation under load, and the solid stainless steel construction resists corrosion in saltwater environments. Proper use of a chain swivel extends the life of the windlass gypsy and reduces fatigue on the chain links near the anchor.
Suitable for use with anchors sized for boats up to approximately 40 feet.
