The Kasco Marine Home Series Diffused Aeration System was created specifically for homeowners managing smaller, residential backyard ponds. The DA1 model features a 1/4 HP compressor running on 120V, enclosed in a sturdy stainless steel cabinet that mounts on the ground and provides quiet, unobtrusive operation. The system includes one single-loop diffuser and one 100-foot roll of 3/8-inch SureSink weighted tubing, delivering everything needed to aerate ponds up to 1 acre in size (at depths of 13–20 feet) and a maximum depth of 20 feet.

The system works by using a shore-mounted compressor to push air through weighted tubing lines to a single-loop diffuser positioned at the bottom of the pond. As air is released from the diffuser, it rises through the water column, creating continuous bottom-up water movement and mixing. This non-stop circulation is essential for eliminating and preventing common pond problems including weed overgrowth, algae accumulation, unpleasant odors, and fish kills, while consistently improving overall water quality.

Because all electrical components remain on shore, no electricity is introduced into the water, making the system both safe and effective.
