The Kasco Home Series Diffused Aeration System provides a simple, effective, and low-maintenance solution for improving water quality in small backyard ponds. Designed specifically for residential pond owners, the DA2 model delivers continuous bottom-up water circulation using two single-loop diffusers powered by a 1/4HP oil-less rocking piston compressor. The system is rated for ponds up to 2 acres in size with depths up to 20 feet, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of backyard pond applications.

The shore-mounted compressor is housed in an uncoated 304 stainless steel cabinet measuring 11" x 12-1/2" x 11-1/2" that is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Cooling air is filtered as it is drawn into the cabinet, and the cabinet features a 3/8" barb size and ground pad installation as standard. An optional mounting bracket (part number 774440) is available for vertical surface installation. The system operates on 120V/1-phase at 2.5 amps and is UL/CSA Recognized.

Air is continuously pumped through two 100-foot rolls of SureSink 3/8-inch weighted tubing to two single-loop diffusers resting on the pond floor. Each diffuser features a self-weighted stainless steel base, proprietary linear low-density polyethylene and rubber hose, an integrated check valve, tubing strain relief, rope tie-offs, and assembled dimensions of 15-1/2" x 9" x 5-3/4". As air is released upward from the diffusers, it creates non-stop water movement and mixing that is vital in eliminating and preventing weed overgrowth, algae buildup, muck accumulation, and unpleasant odors, while also supporting healthy fish and a cleaner pond environment.

The system is designed for 24-hour operation with minimal maintenance. A single power cord with plug connects to a standard power receptacle. The compressor delivers 3.4 CFM at 5 psi and 2.7 CFM at 25 psi, with a 40 psi pressure relief valve. The cabinet supports one 1/4HP compressor and up to two diffuser heads.
