This design eliminates the need for welding. Combined with a precision-engineered actuator, this kit is built to combine quiet operation with a non-hydraulic, maintenance free design. The unit is corrosion free, ensures very accurate tab positioning, provides maximum lift force, and is totally self-contained for easy installation. The actuator assembly is packaged in a non-metallic permanently sealed housing. No components need to be installed inside the boat. - Lectrotab's One-Touch LED Control for 12V and 24V trim tab systems is a microprocessor based control with LED tab position indicators. Customer input was included in the design of this control to include the ablilty of the user to move both tabs up or down simultaneously on single and dual actautor systems with a single button. In addition to an automatic return feature, that will automatically return tabs to the last tab position if the ignition key or accessory switch is turned off and back on (this feature can be disabled).
