The Lewmar 40mm Control Triple Block with Swivel is part of the Lewmar Synchro Control Block range, engineered to deliver outstanding performance for hand-held sailing loads. Combining MRT (Metal Replacement Technology) with a stainless steel central race and precision ball bearings, this block achieves an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The cheeks are formed using Long Fibre Technology, providing superior structural integrity and impact resistance even in demanding conditions. Its open-frame design is intentional — sand and salt are easily flushed out, keeping the block running smoothly with minimal upkeep.

The triple-sheave configuration with a swivel head offers excellent mechanical advantage and versatile mounting options. The 40mm sheave diameter accommodates lines up to 3/8" (10mm), and the block carries a safe working load of 1,584 lbs (720 kg) with a breaking strength of 3,960 lbs (1,800 kg). The triple block post diameter is 7/16" (11.5mm) and the maximum pin diameter is 1/4" (6mm). At just 6.6 oz (187g), it adds virtually no weight penalty to the rig.
