Drawing upon the proven design of the Lewmar Racing Range, HTX blocks are constructed simply from high-quality engineering alloys and thermoplastics, providing enhanced reliability and free-running efficiency. These blocks are ideally suited for frequently adjusted, highly loaded systems that use modern line technology and reduced line diameters.
The 50 mm HTX Block with Swivel, Becket, and Cam features precision-machined bearing pin surfaces that deliver superior performance, with efficiency further enhanced at loads above 450 kg when the acetal sheaves begin to self-lubricate. The head design, inspired by the Lewmar Racing Range, incorporates a grub screw swivel head locking mechanism that allows the head to be configured as either fixed or swivel to suit the application. The integrated cam cleat provides convenient line-locking capability directly at the block.
