The Lewmar Control Through-Deck Single Block is engineered for sailors seeking lightweight, high-performance load-bearing capacity in a through-deck configuration. Designed for sailboats up to 30 feet, this 30mm block combines innovative materials technology with a practical open design to deliver reliable performance and easy upkeep in demanding marine environments.

At the heart of the block is MRT (Metal Replacement Technology), which, together with a stainless steel central race and ball bearings, provides a significant weight advantage without sacrificing strength. The cheeks are constructed using Long Fibre Technology, giving them exceptional strength and impact resistance. The open architecture allows sand and salt to be flushed away effortlessly, keeping maintenance to a minimum even after heavy use in saltwater conditions.

With a safe working load of 440 lbs (200 kg) and a breaking load of 1,056 lbs (480 kg), this block handles medium and dynamic loads with ease. It accepts lines up to 5/16 inch (8mm) in diameter and weighs only 0.92 oz (26g), making it ideal for hand-held and control-line applications. The post diameter for single and double blocks is 9/32 inch (7.1mm), with a maximum pin diameter of 5/32 inch (4mm).
