The Lewmar Dual Joystick Thruster Control is a Generation 2 dual-thruster control assembly designed to deliver superior tactile control for single or dual thruster installations on both sail and power vessels. Compatible with all Lewmar TT, RT, SRT, and VRT thrusters equipped with a Blue Box ICU (589894), this controller brings intuitive, ergonomic command to bow and stern thruster systems across a wide range of boat sizes, from vessels under 30 feet to those exceeding 100 feet.

The unit is engineered for straightforward installation — no rear access is required, and a snap-on bezel neatly conceals all mounting screws for a professional, finished appearance. A removable protective cover is included, offering extra security against accidental activation and added environmental protection. When replacing a previous generation touch panel, joystick panel, or dual joystick panel, the existing mounting hole and fixing screw positions can be reused, simplifying retrofits.

For thruster systems fitted with legacy controls and a Black Box ICU (559003), a controller converter (589842) must be introduced to ensure compatibility with these Generation 2 controls. An upgrade kit is also available for installing single or dual controllers into thruster systems with previous generation controllers.
