The Lewmar Open Electric Deck Switch is a reliable, deck-mount control solution for electric windlasses. It must be used in conjunction with a contactor or control box to complete the installation.
The switch features a hinged cover with a round opening in the lid, allowing convenient fingertip operation without the need to lift the lid fully. Both the open and closed positions of the hinged lid also permit foot control operation, offering versatile deployment on deck. The hinged cover serves an important safety function by helping to prevent accidental activation of the windlass during normal vessel operation.
