The Lewmar Size 1 Ocean Traveler Kit is a complete, prepackaged mainsheet system engineered for sailboats up to 36 feet (11m) in length. Suitable for everything from day sailing to offshore cruising and Grand Prix racing, this kit provides a smooth 4:1 mechanical advantage purchase system that makes mainsail trimming precise and effortless. The integrated range of mainsheet travelers offers a fast, functional, and attractive design with a smooth, clean profile featuring no visible fasteners.

The kit includes Lewmar's sliding bolt track, which allows straightforward retrofitting to the deck using the original bolt hole pattern — eliminating the need for new holes or extensive modification. The traveler car features non-captive ball bearings for smooth movement along the track; care should be taken when removing the car from the track, as bearings can come loose. The track is designed for flat applications and can be easily cut to length with a hacksaw or jig saw equipped with a metal cutting blade. Note: the track in this kit is not intended for spanned areas such as cockpit openings or companionway hatches — HD Beam Track must be used for those applications.

Control lines are sold separately. M6 hex head bolts and sealant for mounting are also required but sold separately. This system is rated for mainsails up to 366 sq. ft. (34 m²) with end-boom sheeting and up to 226 sq. ft. (21 m²) with mid-boom sheeting. Backed by a limited 3-year warranty.
