Introducing Poco 4.0 Digital Control Module. Poco 4.0 is the latest iteration of the award-winning Poco system and introduces new innovative features such as Intelligent Sound-to-Light, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and CAN bus integration. The Poco 4.0 Digital Control Module is compact and completely sealed. It replaces physical circuits, wires and switches, simplifying wiring schemes and saving builders time and money. When installed with Lumitec’s PLI-enabled lights, the full power and functionality of the system is unleashed - delivering a level of sophisticated lighting control previously found only on high-end yachts.

Intelligent Sound-To-Light .Sound-to-light technology has been around for a while, so what makes Lumitec’s Intelligent Sound-to-Light different? The answer lies in the name: “Intelligent.” Unlike competitor products, Lumitec’s solution doesn’t just apply a generic blanket approach to sound presets for active lights. Instead, Poco 4.0 allows you to customize your sound-to-light preferences by light family and channel. For example, if you have under-gunwale and down lights on the same Poco channel, Poco 4.0 lets you apply a preset to a single light family. This means you can have the under-gunwale lights follow the melody while the down lights do not change. In contrast, the underwater lights on a different channel could be following the bass, creating complex and unique light patterns for a much more sophisticated overall effect. Sound presets can even be programmed into the light switch along with the lighting configuration, so all you need to do is hit the button, relax, and enjoy the show.

Poco 4.0 makes this all possible on a simple 2-wire DC electrical system, and if you’ve already installed Lumitec PLI-enabled lights on your vessel, they’ll be compatible with Poco 4.0’s Intelligent Sound-to-Light feature.
