The Malone Auto Racks Kayak/SUP Wall Storage Cradle is a medium-capacity wall-mount storage solution designed to safely store most sit-inside kayaks, sit-on-top kayaks, and Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUPs). Constructed from 1-inch round steel tubing with a powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance, the cradle features a fully padded frame that cushions and protects your watercraft's hull during storage. This space-saving wall-mount design keeps your kayak or SUP off the floor and securely stowed when not in use, making it ideal for garages, sheds, and other storage areas.
The unit mounts directly to wall studs or a solid wall for optimal support — it must not be installed into unsupported drywall, sheet-rock, or paneling. Wall studs are typically positioned 16 inches apart (center-to-center), and holders should be spaced 32 or 48 inches center-to-center, depending on kayak length. Installation requires a 3/16-inch drill bit and 2-inch lag screws (included). Each package contains two cradle holders, two lengths of mounting hardware, a hardware installation kit with screws, and a printed instruction manual.
