High quality anodes manufactured to stringent U.S. Military specifications.
Offered mainly in zInc and aluminum alloys, these collar anodes meet U.S. Military specifications. Testing in an in-house facility ensures strict adherence to quality standards. Zinc models are for use in highly corrosive saltwater only. Aluminum models, can be used in saltwater or brackish water. Used in brackish water, aluminum anodes are superior to zinc, which can “passivate” and not work at all. Aluminum anodes are also lighter than zinc and do not contain cadmium, which is a substance of environmental concern. Choices include anodes for SAE and a limited number of choices for metric shafts.
Magnesium limited clearance anodes (for freshwater only) are offered with a limited range of choices: Model 12010328, for 1"dia. shafts and Model 12010366, for 1 1/4" shafts.
Offered with allen head or slotted head screws, each with bolt-retaining lock washers. Where not specified, screws are allen head.
