Offered as a complete assembly for sizes A-E (magnesium anode, bronze nut and screw) and as a replacement anode only for sizes A-H, these anodes are easy to install and will not unbalance your shaft. They are for use in freshwater only and offer better protection than zinc, which can “passivate” in freshwater and stop working. An added benefit is that they do not contain cadmium, which is a substance of environmental concern.
