Megaware makes a SkegPro® for virtually every popular outboard motor and stern drive on the market. It’s constructed of high-quality 18-gauge stainless steel to withstand damage and abrasion from hitting rocks and debris or dragging on the sand when a boat is beached. The SkegPro® conforms to the lower unit to ensure that there is no effect on performance. A drain hole keeps water from collecting in the guard.
SkegPro® can be installed with basic tools in less than 10 minutes. The self-locking hardware ensures that it will stay securely in place and it saves hundreds of dollars compared to having the skeg welded.
