Mercury Marine MerCruiser 5.0L and 5.7L MPI Engine with Alpha Sterndrive 300 Hour Maintenance Kit

The Mercury Precision Parts 8M0147068 300-Hour Maintenance Kit is a genuine OEM service kit engineered specifically for MerCruiser 5.0L and 5.7L MPI engines built by General Motors paired with an Alpha sterndrive (2002 and newer, standard cooling). Everything needed to perform a thorough 300-hour service interval is included in one convenient package, eliminating the need to source individual components separately and reducing the risk of using incompatible parts.

This kit is a genuine Mercury Marine factory OEM part, not an aftermarket substitute. Mercury maintenance kits feature premium-quality oil and fuel filters with high internal pleat counts for superior filtration performance, along with heavy-duty electroplated housings that prevent corrosion in demanding marine environments. The included NGK spark plugs and OEM thermostat components ensure proper combustion and thermal management for long-term engine reliability.

To complete the 300-hour service, Mercury recommends also using genuine Mercury 4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil and Mercury Premium Gear Lube (858058K01), sold separately. Part numbers within the kit are subject to change by factory supersession.
