1/2" New England Ropes 8-Plait braided nylon is primarily designed as an anchor line for mechanical windlasses.
By combing New England Ropes newest braiding technology and optimizing for anchor line use. This product splices easily to chain and flakes and coils easily. Works in most common gypsies. This nylon 8-plait has a high energy absorption and good abrasion resistance built in. The single braid construction delivers a balanced rope that coils and flakes easily into most anchor lockers. Other uses include dock and mooring lines for sail and power boats.
