New England Ropes VPC Hybrid Performance Braid is a mid-tech running rigging line designed for the casual racer and offshore cruiser. VPC fills the gap between performance polyester lines and ultra-high-performance racing lines, pairing a strong core of blended Vectran® and polyolefin with a durable braided polyester cover. This 12mm (1/2") solid green line comes on a 600' spool and is well suited to halyards, mainsheets, and jib sheets, and is recommended for replacing wire halyards on cruising boats.

- Blended Vectran® and polyolefin core under a durable polyester cover
- Mid-tech performance between polyester braids and high-tech racing lines
- 10,200 lb breaking strength in the 12mm (1/2") size
- Low stretch: 1.40% elongation at 20% of breaking load
