Old Town added extra versatility to their Predator MK Minn Kota Kayak with the Utility Console that installs in seconds in place of the Minn Kota Electric Motor Console. The perfect solution for those times when you don't want to use the motor, but still want to take advantage of easy sonar mounting and great storage capabilities!
The Utility Console not only fills the void that occurs when you remove the motor console from the hull, it's designed to be a complete, self-contained sonar electronics management system that can be quickly removed and stored in your vehicle to protect your valuable electronics from theft. It comes complete with a sonar head unit mounting plate, battery and cable storage, transducer mounting plate, dry storage compartment with quick-seal hatch and a cell phone rest for easy viewing while seated. The flat bottom also reduces drag for paddling efficiency.
Since it replaces the motor, this console requires you to use a paddle (sold separately) for propulsion.
