Peerless Chain's Peer-Lift™ shackles feature a carbon steel body with an alloy pin. The body and pin are each galvanized, while the pin is also painted blue for easy identification. These shackles have a similar strength to proof coil chain of the same size. To prevent accidental opening, always seize the shackle pin with safefy wire. For increased strength, use one size larger than the chain diameter, especially with high test chain (the pins will still fit). Meets ASME B30.26 Requirements and other requirements below.
