At 12' long, Pelican's Strike 120X Sit-On-Top Angler Kayak is not only more efficient for longer distances, the extra length gives you the carrying capacity of a pack mule. Weighing only 59 pounds, this kayak easily handles up to 350 pounds of paddler and gear. The hull is laid out for stability, comfort and the efficient use of space so you'll have everything you need for a full weekend of fishing.
Hull Design
Utilizing Twin Sheet Thermoforming (TST) technology, the Strike 120X Angler features RAM-X™ Premium, a multi-layer polyethylene with an advanced resin in the top layer that imparts a glossy finish and significantly more rigidity and durability than standard single-layer polyethylene hulls. The multi-chine, flat-bottom shape provides a stable, yet highly maneuverable ride that's of particular appeal to anglers. It also makes it easier to load on the ground due to its flat bottom. With Pelican's unique manufacturing process, built-in positive flotation has been added for increased buoyancy and safety.
Comfort
The open cockpit features the Ergoband Seating System™ that provides an ergonomically designed, adjustable padded backrest and a seat cushion for all-day comfort on the water. Easily adjustable, oversized footrests allow for 14" of adjusting to customize the fit for different leg lengths.
Fishing-Specific Features
The Strike 120X Angler is outfitted with two flush-mounted rod holders behind the seat that can be used with any standard fishing rods, gaffs or landing nets. A swivel rod holder in front between your legs holds your spinning or baitcasting rod with a secure latching ring. A paddle tiedown keeps your paddle secured to your boat while your hands are busy tying on bait, casting your line and landing your catch. The stern storage platform with bungee tiedown is the perfect spot for your tacklebox, bait tank or cooler.
Storage
From the 8" day hatch with storage bag behind the seat for stashing small essentials to the larger, quick lock bow hatch, you'll find plenty of space onboard to stow gear you'd rather not get wet. Accessory pad eyes provide options for attaching a variety of items where they'll be easy to reach.
