The rampage boat rod was designed with heavy-duty, durability applications in mind. It is comprised of with tubular glass blank for extra strength. It also features a solid glass tip which guards against breakage even when high sticked. Other considerations where the elimination of flex when under a heavy load with the Pac Bay reel seat to ensure a secure lock on the reel foot. All the rods have stainless steel framed guides which will easily facilitate mono or braided lines. To ease the pain and or scratching from a metal gimbal, certain models contain a rubber gimbal for when you're busy reeling in the big game.
