This stylish kayak was made for recreational paddling. It’s a great fit for a beginner or intermediate level kayaker. A bit deeper and heavier and with a skeg for more stability, it’s perfect for lakes, ponds and gentle rivers or mild coastal waters because the small bit of extra weight won’t matter when you’re not in a rush. Perception crafted this cross between recreational and touring designs so that the Expression 11.5 doesn’t lose in style what it gains in comfort and security on the water. The TruTrak Skeg System™ helps keep precise tracking, allowing you to raise or lower the skeg depending on your trip distance.
This is a sit-inside kayak with a Zone DLX Seating System™, a comfortably cushioned ergonomic design eliminating hard pressure points on the body with adjustable backrest to cater to all heights. The seating system also includes leg lifter support. Adjustable side thigh pads further add to your comfort. Brace your feet for more leverage and maximum paddling effort by adjusting the Keepers Foot Brace System™ adjusting and locking in place according to your leg length. A bungee-lined bulkhead and stern hatch work great for carry-on storage. Reflective static safety lines are in place around the perimeter. Handles at each end make pulling, carrying or towing a cinch.
