The DP2 is a vertical application windlass designed for boats with limited deck space. It is constructed of AISI 316 stainless steel, a durable material for harsh marine environments, with the motor-gearbox housed below deck. Additional features include an IP67 watertight motor, an anodized aluminum gearbox, and an inspection lid.
The DP2 series is offered with or without a drum capstan for rope retrieval and in various gypsy sizes for rope and chain retrieval. These models are the gypsy-only version with a 7mm / 1/4" gypsy. Each is sold complete with the windlass, solenoid unit, clutch handle, and mounting hardware.
