Quicksilver Exhaust Riser Kit 4" Port and Starboard
The Quicksilver 8M0153671 Exhaust Riser Kit provides a 4-inch (102 mm) rise in the exhaust system of small block emissions-controlled (EC) Mercruiser inboard and sterndrive engines. By elevating the exhaust pathway to a maximum height of 8 inches (203 mm), this kit effectively prevents seawater from back-flooding into the engine through the exhaust system — a critical safeguard for marine power plants operating in variable sea conditions.
Designed as a direct OEM replacement, this kit is sold as a complete pair covering both the port and starboard sides of the engine. The elbow assemblies are hot-dipped and top-coated for superior corrosion resistance, ensuring long service life in harsh marine environments. The kit is intended for newer catalytic engine applications and is compatible with a wide range of Mercruiser V-6 and V-8 powerplants. One kit is required per engine.
Note: The closed cooling (FWC) elbow gasket, part number 8M2004606, is not included in this kit and must be ordered separately if required.
