Inline fuel filter 8M0090809 is for under-cowl installation on 65-115hp EFI 4-stroke Mercury outboards, Jet and Pro XS outboards (serial No. 2B095049 and higher), 200-400hp and the 400R L6 Verado (serial No. 2B141224 and above) outboards, 150hp EFI 4-stroke and Pro XS (serial No. 2B550139 and above) Mercury outboards, 175-300hp and the 450R 3.4L V6 & 4.6L V8 4-stroke outboards (serial No. 2B639482 and above). Replace the filter once each season or as your owner's manual recommends based on engine use. Prevents harmful debris that may be in the gasoline fuel tank from getting to the engine to rob it of power and efficiency. See your owner's manual or service manual for more information.
