Installing a bilge pump can be difficult. Often the biggest challenge is finding a space for a pump and a float switch. These Rule compact automatic bilge pumps are great solution and are ideal for smaller boats. Their compact size allows them to fit in the tightest locations and they do not require the installation of a float switch. The pump motor looks for water by cycling every 2 1/2 minutes. If the electronic sensors detect resistance in the impellor (water), they will continue to pump until all of the water is evacuated. Once the water has been pumped from the bilge, the pump returns to its normal cycle. The integrated strainer also serves as a mount for the pump for a quick installation and makes cleaning the pump simple. Available in three sizes, these pumps offer aquick solution to an age-old problem.
