Tuff Stuff LOW VOC Epoxy Primer complies with rigid VOC limits set by the California Air Quality Management Board and offers a Low VOC alternative when applying water barrier or corrosion protection.

More than a simple primer, Tuff Stuff LOW VOC Epoxy Primer is a multi-purpose, high-build, two-part epoxy that in addition to use as a universal metal primer can be used to repair fiberglass blisters and create a bottom paint-ready barrier coat in as little as two days. Using microsheet silicate technology, Tuff Stuff seals out water with millions of overlapping microscopic sheets that provide an impermeable barrier against water penetration.

In addition to blister prevention on fiberglass, Tuff Stuff LOW VOC Epoxy Primer can be used as a bilge coating, because it is resistant to oil and water. As a universal primer, it can be used for corrosion protection on most metals below the waterline, and for priming any metal. Tuff Stuff creates an overlapping barrier to eliminate any direct path for water migration. Tuff Stuff LOW VOC Epoxy Primer can be used on aluminum, bronze, stainless steel, cast iron and lead, above and below the waterline, which makes it a great choice for priming props, shafts, keels, trim tabs, thru hulls and lower units.
