The SeaStar PRO HK7500A-3 is engineered for high-performance outboard steering applications. This hydraulic steering system is rated for single non-power-assisted outboards up to 350 HP and is particularly suited for high-performance bass boats and vessels capable of speeds over 60 MPH that demand maximum steering control and comfort. The system has been the choice of high-performance outboard boat builders and has steered BASS Masters Classic competitions since 1994.
The system features a patented steering lock valve mechanism and low-friction hydraulic design that provides responsive, precise steering. With 4.25 turns from lock-to-lock, the helm offers smooth operation across the full steering range. The helm pump utilizes a standard 3/4 inch tapered steering shaft, enabling fast and easy installation compatible with most existing helm stations.

The kit contains one HH5770-3 SeaStar 2.0 cubic inch PRO helm pump, one HC6345-3 PRO front mount outboard cylinder, and two quarts of HA5430H SeaStar hydraulic steering fluid. The helm pump features a 4.4375 inch footprint with a 3 inch dash cut-out diameter. The cylinder has a 1.375 inch bore diameter, 0.75 inch nominal shaft diameter, and 8.34 cubic inches per revolution displacement. Standard hoses are rated at 1000 PSI; Kevlar-reinforced hoses rated at 1500 PSI are recommended for high-performance applications. Dometic SeaStar recommends the use of SeaStar Steering fluid exclusively in SeaStar steering systems. The system includes a 2-Year Limited Warranty from Dometic.
