The Galaxy 5800-XT is a high-performance 8-foot VHF antenna featuring collinear-phased 5/8-wave elements designed to maximize both range and signal quality. Built for harsh conditions, its durable urethane-coated fiberglass construction withstands high winds and speeds, making it ideal for hardtops, T-tops, radar arches, or any other elevated installation. The brass and copper elements provide efficient signal transmission, while the stainless steel ferrule with standard 1-inch 14 threads ensures secure mounting. Included is a 20-foot RG-8X low-loss coaxial cable with a PL-259 connector for easy installation. Finished in Galaxy white with a one-section design, this antenna combines durability, performance, and long-range capability, backed by a five-year limited warranty.
