This inexpensive device will adapt your boathook so you can use it to pass the eye of a dock line over a piling.
Device consists of a clip that you attach to a boathook with included hook-and-loop material. Dockline eyes are held open by the clip and the hook end of the pole. Use it to easily loop your dock lines around posts or pilings. Especially useful at low tide when the piling is too high to reach. Mounts to any boat hook pole.
