Replace corroded or freeze damaged exhaust elbows.
Constant heat cycling and prolonged exposure to salt and fresh water causes exhaust system components to corrode faster than other marine engine parts. Replacement of these parts is not that uncommon. Sierra elbows are engineered to match the original OEM casting used by Crusader and are leak tested for quality assurance. The castings are primed and painted to stand up to the marine environment. When replacing damaged or corroded exhaust components look to West Marine and Sierra to have a solution.
