This full-featured, premium fixed-mount VHF radio includes all of the bells and whistles (literally) that a mariner might need.
The Quantum GX5500S is a commercial-grade VHF with a comprehensive assortment or premium functions. With an optional BTK-2 Bluetooth headset (sold separately), you can talk or listen from anywhere onboard.
A large alphanumeric keypad lets you easily enter MMSI numbers, and the oversized full dot-matrix display is versatile and easy to read. Plus, the Quantum GX5500S includes a 30 watt PA system, complete with preprogrammed foghorn with listen back, bell and whistle signals. Add a second station with an optional RAM3 mic, or listen to clear transmissions with the ClearVoice noise-canceling speaker mic.
