Torqeedo Travel Battery XP
The Torqeedo Travel Battery XP (part no. 1167-10) is the updated high-capacity spare battery engineered specifically for use with the Torqeedo Travel XP 5hp (2024 and newer) and Torqeedo Travel S 3hp electric outboard motors. Replacing the original 1425 Wh Travel Battery XP (1167-00) as of June 2026, this new version delivers an increased capacity of 1512 Wh, providing extended range and endurance on the water.
Weighing just 9.6 kg (21 lbs), the Travel Battery XP is built around proven Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) cell technology and operates at a nominal voltage of 44V. Its IP67 protection class rating ensures full dust-tightness and protection against temporary immersion in water, making it well-suited for demanding on-water conditions.
Charging is accomplished via a 12V charging cable (item number 7011-00, sold separately). Alternatively, the battery can be charged using a solar charging cable (item number 7008-00), and uniquely, solar charging can take place during operation — allowing energy to be replenished while the motor is running. Please note that neither charging cable is included in the scope of delivery.
This battery is not compatible with older Torqeedo Travel electric outboards from 2023 or earlier (models 1103 and 1003). Buyers upgrading from previous generation hardware should verify compatibility before purchasing.
