These dock lines passed the test.
Our Double Braided Nylon Dock Lines are hand spliced and reinforced with a machine stitch. Higher twisting of yarns and strands produces a denser, rounder rope with high abrasion resistance that is less likely to snag. The bitter end is heat sealed and whipped with nylon fibers. These dock lines have been load tested and hold up to our hight standards.
Double Braided Dock Lines
- Softer and easier to handle, cleat and coil
- Stronger (+15%) than comparable three strand dock lines
- Best choice for dock lines to carry onboard port to port
Features:
- Ready made with professional 12" eye splice and bitter end heat sealed and whipped
- High elongation; stretches 6.5% at 20% of breaking strength
- Torque-free non-hockling; stays flexible and very easy to handle
- Very little degradation from UV; can be used outside over long term if inspected regularly
- Manufactured with premium high tenacity nylon fibers and conforms to MIL-R-24050E
