D shackle for high loads.
High Resistance D shackles are engineered to provide the highest strength and are ideal for ocean racing and industrial applications. The 17.4 PH stainless steel that these shackles are forged from offers very high level mechanical performance characteristics along with the polished smooth contour finish that Wichard is known for. Pins are NOT captive to allow access to the full width of the shackle opening. For a shackle that can be trusted in high load applications, look to Wichard HR D shackles to handle the task with ease.
