The Mustad Twin Hook Shackle Rig is engineered for serious offshore anglers who demand maximum strength, performance, and hookup rates. Built with no compromises on quality, this rig features two Mustad stainless steel Southern Tuna big game hooks, proven to outperform straight-point designs thanks to their turned-in point for superior strike-to-hookup conversion.
Each rig is fitted with a stainless steel bow shackle (430kg rated) that allows the hooks to swing freely, self-align, and reduce line twist. The trailing hook is wrapped with adhesive heat shrink, eliminating any chance of slippage during the fight.
For optimal performance, we strongly recommend running Zacatak Twin Hook Shackle Rigs at a 60-degree alignment, with hook points lined up with the top of the skirt. Fine tuning can easily be achieved by twisting the trailing hook and wire to adjust alignment.
