Comments about Noise Control Barrier Material:

Bought this 2 years ago for our Chaparral 1930 (1997 model) works great for noise reduction but have had problems with adhesion after using the recommended adhesive. No problem with layer separation or deterioration after two years in a small motor compartment. pieces applied to top of engine bay had to be bolted in place due to weight. Pieces on sides had to use a different adhesive to get them to stay put but it makes a marked difference in noise in boat.

Comments about Noise Control Barrier Material:

This is a terrible product and should be removed from the store. There is a lot of work involved in installing this product in your engine room especially if you have multiple items mounted on the walls. When it first goes on the room looks great and it works pretty well. However, in a very short time the cells in the foam collapses almost flat and becomes useless. The design is a good idea but the performance is terrible. Do not buy this.
