Attwood inline surge protectors install along the tank’s vent line and warn boaters as the tank approaches maximum capacity and help automatic shut-off nozzles to stop fuel flow before a spill. For non-automatic shut-off nozzles, an audible gurgling sound is omitted from the vent fitting to alert boaters the tank is almost filled. The compact polypropylene body is compatible with ethanol blended fuels and installs along the vent line with included hose clamps and doesn’t need to be mounted to the hull.
