Fuel fill hose and fuel tank vent hose that will stand up to ethanol
With the increased use of ethanol in gasoline have come issues in fuel hoses. Ethanol’s volatile properties will breakdown conventional fuel hoses over prolonged periods of exposure. Shields Series 350/355/369 hoses were designed to stand up to ethanol blended fuels that can remain in the fill hose or vent line after filling up. Series 350 and 355 hoses are abrasion resistant and are best suited for fuel fills. A wire helix between plies of HD synthetic cord reinforces these hoses while maintaining their ability to make tight radius bends. The 369 Series hose provides the same ability to stand up to ethanol blended fuels but is better for fuel tank vent applications. The smaller diameter and excellent flexibility make easy work of installations with limited space. Available in common sizes for fuel tank, oil tank, and tank vent installations these hoses are sold by the foot so that you can pick up only the length you need.
