Top-quality battens from Robichaud Batten Systems (RBS), made with epoxy resin for extreme durability.

Epoxy “E-Glass” battens are constructed using unidirectional E-glass fibers in a unique proprietary pulform process in which all fibers are pre-tensioned and aligned during the impregnation process using a specially formulated flexible epoxy resin matrix. This creates an extremely durable, virtually unbreakable batten.

  • 20-30' boats or beach catamarans use 15mm stock on the main and 10mm stock on the jib.
  • Boats over 30' use 19mm stock on main for both compression and leech battens and 15mm stock on the jib.
