The Barefoot International Deluxe Quad V-Drive Boom (B204-V) is specifically engineered for V-drive boats, designed to mount on the rear pylon positioned between the seat and engine. Drawing on 30 years of experience, World Champion barefooter Mike Seipel personally designed this boom to deliver unmatched strength, safety, and durability without compromising performance. Developed through collaboration with elite barefooters and waterskiers, this boom is constructed from high-quality aircraft-grade materials to provide unrivaled stability and reliability.

The boom's dual stainless steel cable system runs all the way to the attachment point at the bow, providing superior horizontal stability and security. Unlike competing designs that rely on straps or single cables that can fail, this system ensures the boom stays firmly in place at all times. The clamp features no levers or moving parts — design elements that can loosen or break under use — and instead employs extremely strong heavy-duty hardware to keep the boom firmly mounted to the pylon. A quick-release pin allows for effortless setup and removal without sacrificing strength.

The Quad Contour bend helps angle the boom forward, keeping the rider closer to the driver or passenger and out of the chine spray coming off the hull. The standard clamp fits 2.5-inch pylons, and a special clamp is available for 3-inch pylons. The pylon must have at least 3 inches of height above the seat to attach the clamp, and must be a factory pylon — aftermarket pylons are not suitable. A driver-side configuration is available upon request. Regular application of clear silicone grease to the quick-release pins is recommended to maintain smooth operation.

A boom is highly recommended for ski schools and learning applications, as it allows the boat to be driven at much lower speeds while keeping the rider just a few feet from the instructor.
