Remote Operated Motorized Battery Switches

A compact remotely operated battery switch that adds convenience.

Installation of a remote switch has two benefits: it puts the control of the switch right on the dash or nav-station and it shortens heavy cable runs by putting the switching mechanism close to the battery. They are ideal for bow and stern thruster dedicated batteries located in hard to access lockers.

Marinco 701MD and 720MDO switches are ignition protected and can be installed the engine room of gasoline powered boats. The 701MD shares the same tiny footprint (2 ¾" x 2 ¾") of other 700 series switches and will fit almost anywhere. Removable side plates on four sides allow easy access for up to 1/0 cables. A rear cover insulates rear terminals against possible short circuits. This ensures the switch meets ABYC requirements. Both can be either surface or recess mounted.
