3 Link Deckware Safety Tether

Lightweight and compact for performance sailing, these tethers utilize a unique, FEA-lightened double action clip at the boat end, with weight further reduced by the use of a sewn loop at the harness end. Tethers attach to the harness via a cow hitch—like a luggage tag loop. Lines are 16mm—28% lighter than the 25mm standard and they are dry coated to reduce weight gain due to water absorption. Overload indicator displays when the load has exceeded 500kg (1,100lb.)—meaning the tether must be replaced. CE, EN1095 and ISO12401 approved. Note: It is recommended that crew carry a means of severing Spinlock Deckware Tethers, since they cannot be released at the chest end.
