A wooden slatted floor rolls up with the boat, so setup is quick: lay it out, install the seat, and inflate each chamber with the included pump. The transom gives you a secure mount for a small outboard, and the oars and oarlocks let you row when you prefer.

When the day is done, the PRU-3 rolls up with the floor slats inside and packs into the included carrying bag. It weighs 53 lb and stows to 3'3" x 1'11" x 11", small enough for a car trunk, garage, or boat locker.

Safety Information

• Do not exceed the boat's ratings: Never exceed the maximum persons, load, or horsepower shown on the transom data plate. The load capacity includes the motor, passengers, and gear.
• Use only the included pump: Do not use an air compressor. Over-inflation can rupture seams or fabric. Inflate the tube chambers evenly to 3.6 psi, checking with a pressure gauge.
• Tow empty and slowly: Tow the boat only when it is empty, using a bridle secured to the two side D-rings, never the bow. Do not tow faster than 10 mph.
• Wear a PFD: Every passenger should wear an approved personal flotation device.

Care and Maintenance

• Rinse after each use: Clean and rinse the boat with fresh water, then dry all parts completely before rolling it up to prevent mold and mildew.
• Use the right cleaners: Avoid vinyl preservatives, waxes, and alcohol-based cleaners, which can dry out the fabric.
• Protect the wood: Inspect the wooden slats and seat regularly and touch up scratches with marine-grade varnish.

Warranty

West Marine Performance Series limited warranty for recreational use: 5 years on hull fabric and seams, 3 years on transom separation, 2 years on floor attachment and rub strake, and 1 year on boat parts and accessories. Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
