Gen-Sep™ Water Separators help quiet exhaust for a more pleasant boating experience.
"Belching" exhaust mixed with cooling water is a characteric of many marine exhaust systems. Gen-Sep Water Separators eliminate this phenomena by removing nearly all the cooling water from the exhaust. Gen-Sep Water Separator installations replace the exhaust hose loop after the muffler at the highest point in the system. Once separated, exhaust cooling water is drained out via a thru-hull fitting below the wateline—thus eliminating excess noise often created by splashing and pulsating water flow at the exhaust outlet. Construction features corrosion-resistant, high-temperature resin and E-Glass.
